Community Description:

Like its namesake islands, the "La Maddalena" attached villas complex is strategically and centrally located in the heart of South Tampa, once again providing a place of refuge, shelter and a convenient traffic crossing point for the modern "Landfarer". Its colorful and more modern history includes occupation by the Watt's colonists in the Dale Mabry extension and expansion of WWII. In the sixties, the Malio's conquered all of the lands to the east stretching all the way to the Dale Mabry and for the next 40 years ferociously gobbled up chunks of land to the west, one lot at a time. However, early in the 21st century, the PIC's started fighting back and with a little luck and years of determined effort, recaptured a goodly portion of the western Malio's lands and all of the Watt's lands westward to Church and are now restoring them to the glory they so richly deserve as the "La Maddalena" attached villas complex, destined to be the premier address of South Tampa.
