Arbor Custom Homes was founded in 1988. It combined the talents of St. Helens area homebuilder Dennis Sackhoff and Portland area realtor Wally Remmers, who specialized in land. Starting small, the two native Oregonians have built Arbor Custom Homes into the largest residential homebuilding company in the metropolitan area. Since 1988, Arbor Custom Homes has built or has announced plans to build nearly 4,500 homes.
